Glens Falls Youth Baseball and Softball 2026 Season Information

The GFYBSO provides recreational baseball and softball played at East Field Recreation Complex each year for local boys and girls beginning with Tee-Ball through our 12-and-Under Majors Division.

The 2026 GFYBSO Recreation Season will begin on April 20th and run through June 20th. Each team will participate in 1-2 games per week with practices scheduled by our parent coaching volunteers. Teams will be selected in late March. Registration closes on Sunday, March 22nd. Registered families will be contacted in early April.

GFYBSO will follow all NYS DOH and City of Glens Falls regulations. This information will be given to all players and families prior to the 2026 league opening.

2026 Holiday Rates (through December 20, 2025):

Tee-Ball: $49 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

Bantam through Majors: $79 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

2026 Early Bird Rates (through February 1, 2026):

Tee-Ball: $59 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

Bantam through Majors: $89 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

2026 Regular Rates (February 2, 2026 through March 15, 2026):

Tee-Ball: $69 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

Bantam through Majors: $99 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

2026 Late Registration Rates (after March 15, 2026):

Tee-Ball: $94 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

Bantam through Majors: $124 (plus $50 volunteer fee, refunded when volunteer shift worked, per player)

All players will receive a jersey and cap/visor.

Please note that your registration fees go towards covering the following: field materials, field mowing, garbage removal, water, utilities, insurance, league affiliation, equipment, jerseys, hats, balls, umpire fees, etc. If you have any questions regarding our rates, we encourage you to email us, or attend monthly board meetings, held the last Tuesday of each month at The Queensbury Hotel.

GFYBSO is affiliated with Babe Ruth League and follows its age restrictions:
